Gifit - Super Simple GIF Maker App Reviews

I love its simplicity and clean, flat UI. Im docking one star only because it takes some time for the video to load.

I have 80 videos on my phone but this is only loading 3. Its very frustrating and inhibiting all my super important gifing needs.

This app works perfectly. It uploaded my video and I set the gif length within a minute, maybe even faster. The upload to imgur was a little slow but I think thats because of my internet. Its worth getting for sure!

An easy to use gif maker! I made one of my mom eating an emoji poop, her look was priceless.

The simplest GIF creator in the App Store. One feature I would like to see: cloud storage integration. I would love to send my newly created GIFs to Dropbox for easy access. Thanks for considering!

Slow. Seriously slow. Unreasonably slow. The worst offense, though, is that theres only one font choice and the size is huge so if you want to type more than one word it obscures the gif you just waited way too long to design.

Really liked the look and interface of the app. Its simple and similar to the iPhones trimming tools; an easy slider on a filmstrip. It was a tad slow and heated up my 5s—which has been admittedly acting up. Only a few seconds though, worth the wait. I would like to try it on an iPhone 6. I will definitely try the app again when I upgrade. Its video only, would be nice if it did photos.

It works great for making vids into gifs! I just wish the text could be smaller

I have a perfectly good iPad, and all my other apps work just fine— this, too, seemed like it worked fine. That is, until I tried to save my gif. It keeps crashing, and it renders the app useless. I would give it no stars if I could.

I am very happy that I can just film something (instead of taking a bunch of photos) and make the GIF that way, however I was saddened to discover that the GIF didnt move at all when I looked at it in my photo album. That, and it wasnt saved in the app itself. Nonetheless, this is a pretty good app

After waiting 5 minutes for it to load it made my 6plus crash wish I could give zero stars

After trying several apps in this category, I found Gifit a simple, reliable GIF making app allowing me to quickly and easily convert my videos into animated gifs. The interface is designed uncluttered and lets you get the job done in just a couple of taps. Please also note that the camera roll doesnt render animated gifs and shows just a still image but when you share it through a compatible app, such as iMessage or Twitter, the animation cranks up. However, Gifit crashes everytime I take a go at converting a rather long video (i.e. a 45 seconds video). I hope to see a fix as it takes too much time to convert and then it jumps to the home screen surprisingly. One more annoying problem that should be fixed is that it zooms in the video, making the animated GIF useless in some cases!

The Gif doesnt come through, it only comes through as a picture. So annoying.
